If this resonates with you, consider applying to be a PSEA Camp Caretaker! From time to time this position becomes available at one of our seven private camps. We are looking for a new caretaker—or caretakers—for PSEA’s most popular camp: Britton! If this has been your dream (and many of you have mentioned it before), now is the time to apply.
Camp Britton needs dedicated caretakers who bring energy, heart, and pride to keep this special place shining. If you’re interested, contact Alice Matthews to learn more about the role. While we’d love to see a PG&E retiree step in, it’s not required—so feel free to refer someone you think would be a great fit.
If you haven’t visited Camp Britton yet, check out our Camp Britton page. Located just 12 miles from Burney, right on the shores of Lake Britton and a short hike from Burney Falls, it’s truly a beautiful spot.
Don’t wait! The annual caretaker meeting is at the end of February—your chance to meet other caretakers and get ready for the season. Then, start preparing the camp before it opens on April 4th.
